Am I required to attend the Catholic wedding mass?

Answer

Not at all! Everyone is welcome, but if you do not feel comfortable attending, please do not feel any pressure.

If I attend the Catholic wedding mass, what should I do between mass and the reception?

Answer

If you attend the wedding Mass and want to stay in the area leading up to the reception, we recommend exploring Occidental or visiting nearby Dillon Beach, where Sean used to (attempt to) shred the gnar in his glory days....Please visit our "Things To Do" page for other ideas!

I noticed the towns of Occidental and Tomales are pretty small and somewhat remote - Will there be cell phone service?

Answer

Not much! We are excited to offer you the chance to be somewhat "off the grid" for a weekend, but due to the lack of cell reception at our wedding sites in Occidental and Tomales, we encourage you to please coordinate as many logistics in advance as possible! Please keep in mind that limited cell phone service paired with our remote location will mean limited Lyft and Uber services as well.

How far are Occidental and Tomales from each other?

Answer

The church in Occidental and the reception venue in Tomales are about 25 minutes away from each other, with a peaceful drive through rolling hills. If you would like to take advantage of our shuttles between the ceremony and reception, please let us know on your RSVP.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please be sure to make a note of it on your RSVP, in the "Wedding Reception" section.
