We first met in college, Stephen had been at school for a bit, preparing for his freshmen football season at Hampden-Sydney College, while Samantha had just arrived at Longwood for her freshmen year. When our friend groups decided to hang out the first week of school, neither of us paid much attention to each other. It was not until a month or two later that we went on our first date in October 2018 to a Halloween maze. The year flew by and we both went home for the summer just as friends. It was not until we came back for sophomore year that we started to date. These past five years have been the best time of our lives. We have been able to learn and grow together to become the best version of ourselves. We thank our friend group every day for randomly hanging out, though we like to think no matter the circumstance, we would have found each other! We cannot wait to celebrate our love with everyone in August.
