Where and when should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30PM, please arrive at the Big Springs Goldola at Northstar by 3:30PM to ensure arriving at the top of the mountain with plenty of time to spare. Big Springs Gondola: 9001 Northstar Dr, Truckee, CA 96161

Where to park?

Answer

Free parking is available to wedding guests in the Village View lots immediately adjacent to The Village at Northstar. Handicap and ADA accessible parking is available in the Auto Drop and Transit Center areas. Village View Parking Lot: Currant Rd, Truckee, CA 96161 (15 min walk to Big Springs Gondola) Follow Signs to the Village View Parking Lot.

What is the deal with the gondola?

Answer

Our venue is located at the top of the mountian! In order to get there you will take a short 7 minute gondola ride, where you can stand or sit and enjoy the view. Once you get off the gondola, there is a short walk to the Zephyr Lift where there is an option to finish the ride in another gondola or in an open air chairlift.

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, only guests whose names appear on the RSVP are invited. Thank you for understanding!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The official dress code is Semi-Formal. For women, cocktail dresses or gowns. For men, suits (tie optional) and dress shoes. Are kids allowed?

We would like to keep our wedding and reception adults-only!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We would love to have an "unplugged ceremony" (phones silent and no cameras). However, before and after the ceremony take as many pictures as you would like and we will have QR codes where you can upload your pictures, we would love to see them all!

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes!! A full bar will be on us! Please ENJOYYY!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside and the reception will take place indoors with access to an outdoor patio. It may get a little chilly when the sun goes down, so a light jacket is encouraged.

Can I smoke?

Answer

The venue does not permit smoking due to fire hazards. Please do not vape inside the venue.

Is there an afterparty?

Answer

Yes! We have to leave Zephyr Lodge at 10:00PM. We will then go down the mountain via gondola and continue the party in the Northstar Village at Wild Pine.
