They met at the church camp Alli grew up going to. It was Jake's first time there because he was interning at a church that came there. Originally Jake was not going to be there, but at the last minute he got thrown in there. Jake says that the first time he ever looked at Alli he thought she was very pretty and he had to get to know her. Since Jake was in the same age group as Alli, she invited him to sit with her and her friends, and by that, they got to know each other better. By the end of the week, Jake let Alli know how much he liked her. Originally, Alli did not feel the same way, but after months more of getting to know each other, she was ready and on November 29, 2024, Jake asked Alli to be his girlfriend. Now the rest is history!
