Should I come to both the ceremony and reception? | ¿Debo asistir a la ceremonia y la recepción?

Answer

We will be having a small, intimate ceremony which has a limited guest count and by-invitation only. All are welcome at the reception -- we look forward to celebrating with you on August 29th! | Celebraremos una ceremonia pequeña e íntima, con un número limitado de invitados y a la que se asistirá únicamente con invitación. Todos son bienvenidos a la recepción; ¡esperamos celebrar con ustedes el 29 de Agosto!

Do I need to give a gift? | ¿Necesito dar un regalo?

Answer

Gifts are not expected but always appreciated! If you would like to give a gift, please consider contributing to our cash fund (in the "Gifts" tab) as we save for our future home. We will also have a gifts table at the reception. | ¡No esperamos regalos, pero siempre los agradecemos! Si desean hacernos un regalo, por favor consideren contribuir a nuestro fondo en efectivo (en la pestaña "Gifts"), ya que estamos ahorrando para nuestro futuro hogar. También tendremos una mesa de regalos en la recepción.

What should I wear? | ¿Qué debería ponerme?

Answer

For the reception, wear anything fun and festive that makes you feel the most like you. Come wearing clothes and shoes that you can move in. Vibrant colors are encouraged! | Para la recepción, use cualquier cosa divertida y festiva que le haga sentir como usted. Venga con ropa y calzado que te permitan moverte con libertad. ¡Sugerimos los colores vibrantes!

What menu options will be offered? | ¿Qué opciones del menú se ofrecerán?

Answer

We will be serving a buffet-style combination of Indian and Dominican cuisines at our reception to celebrate the blending of our cultures and families. There will be vegetarian and chicken options served for appetizers and main course, and dessert options from both cuisines (and of course, cake!). Beer and wine will be served from 12pm-3pm. | En nuestra recepción, ofreceremos un buffet que combina la cocina India y Dominicana para celebrar la unión de nuestras culturas y familias. Se servirán opciones vegetarianas y de pollo tanto en los aperitivos como en el plato principal, así como postres de ambas tradiciones culinarias (¡y, por supuesto, pastel!). Se servirá cerveza y vino de 12:00 p. m. a 3:00 p. m.
