It was senior year at Plano East, Meeta and Sri both found themselves in the library waiting for each others sibling to finish class for the day. Meeta was sitting at a computer, and was desperately trying to get past the school firewall to play some games. Sri sitting at a table nearby noticed the cute girl struggling, took a deep breath, reassured himself that he too was a a cool guy, and walked over to talk Meeta. Through many conversations and meetings in the library, they soon grew to be close friends. Now the story could have progressed with the friendship later blossoming into a relationship but ONLY if Sri picked up on the "many signals" that were "apparently" thrown out there, but friends they remained! Meeta and Sri attended their freshman year at UTA together, where Meeta would introduce Sri to one of his best friends Ravi Godhwani. After the year completed, Sri would end up transferring to UTSA, and Ravi to Texas A&M. Fast Forward 10 years to 2016, it's Ravi's wedding, Sri is one of the best men and lo and behold, Meeta is here as well. It had been a long time but they both reconnected happily and were quickly having fun together. Sri, somehow feeling more confident than usual, decided to ask Meeta out at the end of the wedding. Meeta, deciding to give the funny South Indian a chance, said yes to a date and the rest is history!
