Our Story
Aayush and Sristi met during their freshman year of NYU in their dorm’s computer lounge — because nothing brings people together quite like a broken printer. Sristi was rushing to print something before class, and Aayush, the dorm’s student council president, was trying (heroically) to fix it.
Over the years, they stayed in touch in a low-key way, catching up occasionally over brunch, ice skating, or casual dinners. Life was busy, paths crossed and uncrossed — until early 2021, when Aayush texted Sristi to ask how her year in Kenya was going. That one message turned into daily conversations and sparked something neither of them expected.
When Sristi returned to New York later that fall, it was clear that the universe had been very patiently waiting for them to figure it out. What began with a broken printer turned into laughter, late nights, & a love that felt both new & inevitable. From then on, they chose each other — and decided they never wanted to fix printers alone again.
