FAQs

Some important FAQs for the big day!
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

TBD. Once invitations are sent out, there will be an RSVP deadline included.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is garden party/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or sports coat.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay within the budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. Due to this, we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place outdoors; we recommend flats, wedges, or block-style heels to avoid sinking into the grass. The reception will be held in a large event tent.

Question

Will dinner be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes, a full meal will be served after the ceremony at the reception. Dinner will be catered by Old Carolina Barbecue. Vegetarian entree options will be available. We will have an option on the RSVP form for any specific dietary restrictions or allergies.

Question

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

If you have an allergy or dietary restriction, please let Ryan or Erin know ahead of time so it can accommodated. There will be an allotted space to do this on the RSVP form once invitations go out.

Question

Are children allowed at the wedding and reception?

Answer

Due to limited venue space, we kindly request this be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate you making prior arrangements and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Ohio weather this time of year is typically pretty warm and agreeable, for example, last year the high was 78 degrees with a low of 68 degrees. Ohio weather can also be unpredictable, and the ceremony is outdoors, so it is recommended to be prepared and bring an extra layer just in case.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, guests will stay on the premises for cocktail hour with refreshments prior to reception dinner.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive a half-hour prior before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is free parking on the premises. There is a lot with handicap parking accessibility.
