It was a typical May morning and Spandana was getting excited for the start of a beautiful summer in Seattle, when she got a call from her parents about yet another potential "Prince". It was a guy whose profile she had already seen a while ago and didn't give much thought. Yes, she blatantly ignored a suggestion from her Dentist aka The Matchmaker!. Towards the bottom side of the country was Naga, super pumped and excited to meet all his friends in Houston at a friend's wedding, when he was told Spandana's parents are visiting his parents to learn more about each other. With a 1000 thoughts, both of them jumped into this without much expectations. Finally came the day when Naga texted Spandana and that opened a magical door for the both of them. She almost postponed talking to him by a day but something made her talk to him and there's been no looking back ever since. They spoke for a solid month and half about everything and nothing. When it was time to take THE decision, Naga finally booked tickets to Seattle after some not-so-subtle hints from Spandana. Meeting Naga that weekend and spending time with him, impressed her but also intrigued her. For one, she got the most weird (or maybe cute and romantic from another point of view *cough*Naga*cough*) gift from a person she is meeting for the first time in her life and two, the gift clearly has a deeper meaning. Meeting Spandana in person, roaming around Bainbridge Island & Seattle and talking life in general made Naga understand her even better. It also gave a glimpse into the amount of ketchup he would need to start ordering on the side for every meal going forward! Yikes! FINALLY, after keeping her waiting for SO LONG, Naga said a yes and their adventure began.
