Not quite ready for the night to end, they grabbed dessert afterward at a local favorite, Blackbird Bakery—an unplanned stop that turned into the perfect sweet ending to their first date. From there, the two spent as much time together as possible, getting to know each other and realizing just how well they fit. They quickly bonded over their love of doing just about anything together—playing board games, disc golfing, bowling, and especially exploring local restaurants, always on the lookout for their next favorite spot. No matter the activity, they found that time together was what mattered most. One of the biggest milestones in their relationship came when Travis joined Lyndsey’s family on his very first Disney trip ever. What began as a new experience turned into a full-blown love for the parks, eventually leading Travis to become an annual passholder. Over the past two years, Disney has become a special place for them, filled with countless memories. It was only fitting that Travis chose one of their favorite places for the next chapter—getting engaged in front of the Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
