We’re getting married!!

It was a beautiful Thursday evening in Oscoda, Michigan. This has been a tradition for Phillips family for many years! It was their second time going up together and they plan to continue with the tradition for years to come. Phillip had planned with his cousins to help him with recording the moment. He asked Laura if she wanted to take a few pictures down by the water and she said “really? Today? I look horrible! I’m in a T-shirt, have no makeup on and my hair is up in a bun!” He said that she looked beautiful but he was going to change his shirt and suggested to Laura that she change her shirt as well, he at least tried. Lol This didn’t result in any nicer of shirts because Laura didn’t think to bring anything fancy to the cabins on the beach and Phillip didn’t want to look silly being the one in a button up. They headed out of Grandma’s cabin, to the beach, where there were assorted family members relaxing after our delicious family dinner. They stood together getting their picture taken but Laura was over it pretty quickly. She does not like attention and was getting embarrassed. She went to walk away and thought Phillip was going to put her in a funny position for a silly picture.. instead she turned around to him bending down, on one knee, holding the most beautiful ring. Laura doesn’t fully remember what he said, but Phillip assures her it was all sweet. She stood there, hands on her head, heart beating and he asked if she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. Thankfully She said yes or that would have been an awkward rest of their vacation. Hahaha Now here we are planning a beautiful day with everyone they love. They can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
