FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you respond by September 8th so we can finalize our guest list, seating arrangements, and catering numbers. Please RSVP on our wedding website under the "RSVP" tab.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The doors to the venue will open 30 minutes before our ceremony at 4:30 PM. We recommend arriving at the venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to park, walk to the ceremony space and find a seat.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there are a couple of options - street parking, lots, and decks. You can find detailed parking information on the City of Wilmington's website: https://www.wilmingtonnc.gov/Services/Parking. We also suggest using Uber/Lyft ride-share services.

Question

What's the wedding itinerary?

Answer

For a full schedule of the weekend's events, please check out the "Schedule" tab on our website.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes - the dress code is semi-formal. We suggest the men wear a suit and tie, and women wear ankle or floor-length dresses. That said, what matters most to us is that you feel comfortable. Feel free to wear whatever color you feel your best in. Some suggestions (if you'd like) include cobalt or slate blue, navy, black, champagne, olive, or plum.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we've decided to make our wedding ceremony and reception an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax, let loose, and enjoy the evening with us. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

You can find our complete wedding registry here on our website (and purchase directly from our wish list) under the "Registry" tab.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We've hired a professional photographer to capture all of the special moments, and we'd love for you to simply be present with us as we say "I do."

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a plated dinner with a choice of entrée. Please be sure to choose your choice of entrée when RSVP'ing. The two choices are Traditional-Style Chicken Piccata or Roasted Pork Loin with Granny Smith Applesauce. The Traditional-Style Chicken Piccata is pan-seared. Served with capers and a tangy lemon beurre blanc sauce. The Roasted Pork Loin with Granny Smith Applesauce is marinated with garlic, rosemary and thyme. Paired with applesauce that is gently spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar.
