Please be aware that most GPS apps will give you a route that includes ferry travel. This will add time and cost to your travel though any of you who have not been on a ferry may enjoy the experience and the views it provides.
If you are coming from the North, you can choose to avoid the ferries (and the traffic that comes with them) by taking Hwy 101 out of Olympia and then Hwy 3 out of Shelton.

Please note that the parking lot is actually located the next street down from NW Backyard Events actual address, on NE Salty Dog Ln. There will be signs pointing the way. There will not be a parking lot attending so please park respectfully, keeping in mind that there may be up to 30 cars. After parking proceed further park into the parking area, There will be a gate leading to the venue.

Please note that depending on the route you have chosen, a ferry may be required to get to Poulsbo (from Seattle to Bainbridge Island). Summer tourists and sports events can make the ferry crowded, so plan accordingly. WSDOT has an app that can track ferry times and space on the boats.
