FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you submit your RSVP by April 14, 2025, to allow us sufficient time to finalize all details.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you are not given a plus one on your invitation but would like one, please contact Jessica or Nathan, and we will see if we can accommodate!

Question

What time should I arrive at the Nuptial Mass?

Answer

Please plan to arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to 2:00 pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire is cocktail. Suit jackets and dresses below the knee are encouraged. Please keep in mind that our Nuptial Mass will be held in a Catholic Church. Due to the sacredness of the space, please be mindful of the neckline, tightness, and sleeve length of your outfit.

Question

Will there be accommodations for food allergies?

Answer

Yes, there will be accommodations. When you RSVP following receiving your formal invitation, please indicate if you or anyone in your party has food allergies and what those food allergies are. Our venue will either adjust the dish or make you a separate entrée depending on the allergy.

Question

I am not Catholic, what should I know about the Nuptial Mass before I come?

Answer

A booklet will be provided at the Church so attendees can easily follow along with the Mass. All are welcome! Out of respect for Christ's presence during Holy Communion we ask that those who are not Catholic and those who are not practicing the Catholic faith either remain in the pew or come up with your arms crossed at your chest to receive a blessing. There will also be a blessing at the end of Mass for everyone, so don't feel obligated to receive one during Holy Communion.

Question

Does the Nuptial Mass fulfill my Sunday obligation?

Answer

Because our Nuptial Mass is not a vigil Mass (after 4pm), it will not fulfill your Sunday obligation. Be sure to plan Sunday travel around Mass times. Here are some local parishes with their English Sunday morning Mass times: St. Theresa's - Sugar Land, TX 6:30 am, 10:00 am, 12:00 pm St. Bartholomew the Apostle - Katy, TX 7:00 am, 9:00 am, 11:00 am St. Faustina's - Fulshear, TX 7:00 am, 8:30 am, 10:15 am, 12:00 pm St. Elizabeth Ann Seton - Houston, TX 7:00 am, 8:30 am, 10:30 am Christ the Redeemer - Houston, TX 7:00 am, 9:00 am, 11:00 am Regina Caeli [LATIN RITE] - Houston, TX 7:00 am, *8:30 am, 11:00 am (High Mass) *Nathan and Jessica will be attending Mass on Sunday at Regina Caeli at 8:30am.
