FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-casual. The ceremony is indoors in an air-conditioned chapel. We will be at max capacity for this venue, so it may still be a tad warm. The reception venue is outdoors with crushed granite covering most of the grounds. A change of shoes is recommended if you plan to wear heels to the ceremony. You may want to bring some layers too, as it will cool down in the evening.

Question

Is there food?

Answer

Yes! We will have appetizers and will serve Chi’Lantro for dinner, build your own bowl or Saam. Protein options: Spicy Pork, Soy Glazed Chicken Dessert will also be served. *Please be aware that our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish or wheat.

Question

Is there alcohol being served?

Answer

No, this is an alcohol free event. In order to remain compliant with our venue agreement, we ask that you do not bring any of your own alcohol on the premises.

Question

What are your colors?

Answer

Our colors are terracotta, cream, sage green and blush. We don’t have a bridal party, so please wear whatever you like. Preston’s suit is navy. Brittany’s dress is white (ivory for the reception).

Question

Wedding Timeline:

Answer

Our ceremony will start at 3:30PM and is anticipated to be less than 30 minutes with family photos to follow. Our reception starts at 5:00PM and we will depart at 9:00PM.

Question

Where do I park for the ceremony?

Answer

There are several parking options near Grace Heritage Center. All of the parking in Downtown Georgetown is free!

Question

Help! I can't find the reception venue!

Answer

We recently discovered that none of the Maps apps have an accurate location for the reception venue. So here are some helpful tips as you are trying to find your way there! The venue will be on your right on William’s Drive, just past the light after the fire station. Look for Rockhouse and Castlerock Pet Hospital. The venue is just after the Pet Hospital. There is a side road between the Castlerock Pet Hospital and the venue that will take you to parking. There will also be signs out to help you know where to turn.

Question

What is there to do during the time between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the reception location from downtown Georgetown so we recommend checking out the Square. You’ll find plenty of shops, wineries, food etc.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes! Check out our Registry tab to donate to our honeymoon fund or A21 to help combat human trafficking.
