Question

Whats’s the weather like?

Answer

July in Mammoth = warm sunshine during the day (70s–80s°F) and cool mountain air at night (40s–50s°F). Bring layers so you can go from day to night. The tent will have heaters.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your tiny humans, but this weekend is adults-only so everyone can fully let loose.

Question

What is the transportation situation / How do I get Around Mammoth?

Answer

Getting Around A heads up before you arrive: Mammoth Lakes does not have Uber or Lyft. The local taxi service is Mammoth Taxi, which is available for on-call rides throughout the weekend. We recommend saving their number ahead of time: 760-937-8294. Saturday Wedding — Shuttles & Parking We've got you covered for the big day! Shuttles will be running from the Outbound Hotel and the Limelight Hotel to Snowcreek Golf Course before the ceremony and back at the end of the night so enjoy the open bar. Friday Lake Day — Getting to Horseshoe Lake There is plenty of parking available near Horseshoe Lake if you'd like to drive. But Mammoth also runs a free open-air Lakes Basin Trolley that departs from The Village every 30 minutes and stops right at Horseshoe Lake. It's a scenic, easy ride and a great way to kick off the weekend. The trolley runs daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm during peak summer season. Hop on, enjoy the views, and we'll see you at the lake! https://www.estransit.com/lakes-basin-trolley

Question

Any tips for visiting Mammoth?

Answer

A note on altitude: Mammoth Lakes sits at nearly 8,000 feet above sea level in town - beautiful, but something to keep in mind. Drink plenty of water throughout the weekend, alcohol hits harder up here! And don't forget the sunscreen!
