We’re on route to our spot, Montauk and we’re so excited to have a nice easy relaxing weekend. Once we arrived to the hotel (which happens to be the very FIRST hotel we stayed at) Anthony immediately gets out of the drivers seat and checks his bags. I’m trying to check us in through the website I got from the hotel check-in. Anthony says “let’s go for a walk” my response was “no… I’m dealing with this right now.” Anthony “ok when you’re done, let’s go for a walk.” Me being anxious that the check-in wasn’t working I kept arguing no until finally giving in once the checkin worked. We start walking, in the cold with a light snow fall, to the Tiki Man statue now called Maui at the MTK hotel. Anthony says “yeah, you love this spot.. let’s go take a photo come on!” I said “really now? Ugh ok it’s our spot I thought.” We walk over, no other person in sight, Anthony is trying to prop his phone for this so called “selfie” we’re about to take. He asks for my bag to use as support and then he says “let’s vlog instead” that’s when it hit me, the phone falls and he freaks. Once it’s properly set, he hits record and immediately says “I love this girl”, that’s all I can remember before saying “Yes!” Actually I said yes before he even asked lmao we have the whole proposal recorded because Anthony wanted to vlog! 2/17/2024 one of our favorite days in one of our favorite places!
