Ku'uhiapo is Makana's Best Friend. He has been by her side for longer than they can both remember. Ku'uhiapo has been the protector of her heart since they embarked on their life journey as friends. After some convincing, he is trusting Spike with that job now. (Not that he will stop protecting her ever... even when she asks) She couldn't walk down the aisle (or walk period) without him.

Haili is Spike's father, who graciously agreed to be his best man on the day he marries the love of his life. He wouldn't be who he is without Haili and could think of no one better to stand next to him on this day as he has for Spike's whole life.

Victoria Taomia

Honorary Maid of Honor

Victoria is the only reason there is a wedding at all. Not only is she one of Makana's dearest friends, but also was a friend to Spike during a time in his life that he needed someone the most. She is helping the couple plan this wedding and they are honored that she agreed to be next to them when they say I DO!

Nathan Soliai

Nathan is Spike's Best Friend! Without Nathan Spike would've never made it through elementary school. From diapers to slacks Nathan has always been the one Spike could lean on. He is so excited to celebrate this day with Nathan by his side!

Tina Matautia

Tina is one of Makana and Spike's most vital support systems. She has been there through the ups and downs of their relationship, and although she (technically) knew Spike first, she is closer to Makana. She is the reason they sing, dance, and smile and they couldn't tie the not if she wasn't there, so she just had to fly back from the mainland to celebrate with them!

Pupi is Spike's "other" Best Friend. He gives Spike a headache (consistently) but he doesn't know where he would be without him. From the jokes to the serious moments they have shared, Spike knew instantly that he needed Pupi there when he marries Makana.

Rachel Bayly

Rachel is Makana's friend from Oregon. She is one of the only reasons that Makana mentally made it through her first year in student government and helped her find her calling in life. Rachel has always shown up for everything Makana and Spike have needed over the years and as you can imagine, this was no different. Makana is honored to have her travel across the ocean to stand next to her on the day she marries the love of her life.

Jameson Sato

Jameson is Makana's hanai brother. He is the only one that Makana really considers a sibling. Makana was adopted and was born an only child and for her to bring someone into her family isn't something new, but for someone to join her family and never leave is different. Jameson or "Jamie" as Makana calls him, has never left her side through every storm and Spike knew he needed to be there for this day as well. Spike is honored to have his bride-to-be's only brother by his side on their special day.

Lisette is to blame for all of the crazy spontaneous decisions in Makana's life over the past 3 years. Nose Ring? Lisette. Quit her job? Lisette. Take a shot? Lisette. Lisette is the source of so much joy for Makana that she couldn't get married without her! She can't wait to turn up with her on the day she marries Spike.

Howzit everyone! My name is Afe and I am 29 years old. I knew spike since he was little from the village. I've gotten close with them when he came up for college at UH Hilo. I am very proud of him for taking this step in his life and I also can't wait to be apart of him and Makana's day!

Aloha, My name is Ka'ōiwikapuokalani Jeong and I'm a freshman attending Kamehameha Schools Hawai'i. My brother, Ku'uhiapo, has been best friends with Makana for as long as I've known. As an incredible role model, she's turned into a big sister that sets positive examples. I can't wait for this special day!
