Six years ago, as Abby was settling into her new workplace of 4 months, a new coworker was assigned to the office next to hers. She quickly learned he was Kim Spigle’s son, and that he had a daughter. After a few friendly interactions, and an impending shutdown due to Covid, Abby and Zach began to communicate more regularly. Abby told Zach about a sushi spot she loved. Zach texted her to share some music and vice versa. With most of the world shutdown, they took solace in going to parks together, enjoying the outdoors and learning more and more about each other. It didn’t take long (2 1/2 months to be exact) for them to start dating. Navigating a new relationship in the workplace was an adventure in itself, but they continued to learn and grow together. After a year, Abby was introduced to Zach’s daughter, Jonah. Abby quickly learned what an intelligent, charismatic and curious little girl Jonah was, and she became the highest priority of Zach and Abby’s continuing partnership. Throughout the years the relationship grew stronger, and it was clear that the end result was a partnership that would last a lifetime. After thoughtful pondering, Zach decided to pop the question on March 2nd, 2025. Abby gleefully accepted, and now they’re looking forward to all the wonders of a married life together!
