Yes - you are on it! :)
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. Try to avoid jeans, flannel, and any other casual wear.
On our wedding day, the low will be in the 50's with the high in the mid-80's. Keep in mind that all events will take place in the evening time outside, so we recommend wearing a sports jacket/suit coat or shawl/wrap.
We don't have a specific theme, but think fall/winter wedding with our wedding colors - navy, light blue, and desert rose.
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
We ask that you arrive, at most, 15 minutes early or by 4:15 at the latest - after all, only the bride and groom are allowed to be late!
Please refer to the insert from the invitation for visuals of where to park near the venue. We have been asked that no guests park in the church parking lot across the street, so please be sure to use the designated areas!
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
We do not have a hotel block for our guests, but please visit our Travel page for hotels in the area that we recommend.
We ask that all RSVPs are submitted by September 24th online through our wedding website. You are able to RSVP for those listed on your invitation.
Yes! We will have a selection of beverages available, including an open bar of beer, wine, and margaritas woohoo! For food, we will have tomato and basil bruschetta hors d'oeuvres served during cocktail hour. During the reception, a banquet will be set up with a chicken dish, grilled vegetables, potatoes, salad, rolls, and dessert to follow. If you have any questions, please email us at spieckerwedding@gmail.com for any dietary concerns.
You can find our registry here on our wedding website. We've mainly set up custom items for a honeymoon fund so we can have the perfect getaway as newlyweds! There are other home items listed as well.
Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.
Since our centerpieces will be a mix of handcrafted and borrowed, we ask that centerpieces be left at the tables as a part of the decoration. Alternatively, take one of the favors that will be set out at the end of the night!
Yessss! We encourage guests to post pictures onto their social medias, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #SpieckerEverAfter so we can keep track of all of your pictures! However, the ceremony will be unplugged so everyone can live in and enjoy the moment.
With the ongoing COVID pandemic, we are limiting our guest list to accommodate for distancing and masks are welcome depending on your comfort level. Our venue is completely outdoors, so party as you'd like with dinner, dancing, and drinking!
