Wedding Party

. . These are some of the people we hold most dear, the ones that we could not do this day without!

Erika Ruiz

Maid of Honor

Erika and I have known each other since high school. Although we didn't start out as friends, we quickly realized that it would be better if we were. Erika has helped me grow as a person in immeasurable ways. I cannot properly express the gratitude for the wisdom, love, and care shared over the last decade. I never thought I'd find someone who would want to stick by me through all of the various styles and stages of my life. However, through the years, we have supported each other through love, heartache, joy, laughter, and almost everything in between. I couldn't imagine this day without her, and I am truly blessed to have her in my life.

Zane Brumley

Best Man

Not to get too mushy, but I don't know what I would have done or be doing today if I hadn't met Zane. From the moment we met, the light of his friendliness drew me in, and this is something that has never gone away. Zane has always been infinitely more optimistic than I am about people and life. Which is something I greatly admire, while I still don't share the same outlook, Zane has affected my life for the better. I would not be the person I am today or have the friends I do if not for Zane being the best friend I could ever ask for. At times a mentor, and above all else, a brother. He has always been there for me more than he ever knew. I am very grateful to have Zane as my best man.

Alicia Monroe

Bridesmaid

Alicia and I met at work, she's the best nurse you'll ever meet! We jokingly refer to each other as sisters, mostly because we bicker like sisters! (all in good fun) Alicia is the friend that you can call anytime, and she'll answer (even at the gym) (and especially if you have some tea to share). I am blessed by our friendship because I know that whatever the situation, I will get sound advice and support, and I couldn't imagine this day without her! I will always cherish the fact that you're a sounding board and problem solver for me when I need it. Love you, sister! Alicia also wanted all to know that she helped me significantly in my dating journey and endorsed Tanner wholeheartedly from the start.

John Butler

Groomsman

I've known John since culinary school. I had talked with him a couple of times in passing before one day mentioning that I wanted to move to Tulsa. John just happened to be walking by and mentioned that he, too, wanted to move to Tulsa and was looking for a roommate. John and I have been good friends since, but have come a long way from eating Dominos and drinking gallons of Hawaiian Punch every night. John and I can go weeks or months without talking and pick back up right where we left off. Even though life gets busy, I know I can always count on John to be there for me.

Britney Edwards

Bridesmaid

Britney and I met when I was a scrub tech student. She was an enthusiastic endoscopy tech on her way to becoming an RN. I got the pleasure of watching her grow into a nurse and now...wait for it, she's becoming a nurse practitioner! Britney constantly encourages me to be a better person and to continue growing. The light that emanates from Britney, despite whatever is going on, has truly inspired me throughout our friendship. Anyone who knows Brit can't help but smile when they see her, because she has that sparkle (definitely a pink sparkle at that!). I am so grateful to have a friend like Britney by my side to usher in this new chapter!

Garrett Lee

Groomsman

You know when you're trying to leave a conversation, and the other person keeps talking? That's basically every conversation between Garrett and me. One of us always mentions needing to go, and the other agrees, then adds a "but" to keep the conversation going. It's always a welcome "but" that adds to the fruitfulness of the conversation. We have stayed up way too late talking about things we have in common, our problems, current events, and things to make the other laugh. It's a wonder that Garrett and I weren't friends sooner. I always enjoy talking and catching up with Garrett, whether in person or over voice chat. I look forward to a continued friendship in which we can share our wisdom and insights with one another. I am honored to have Garrett as one of my groomsmen.

Ia Lor

Bridesmaid

Ia and I, you guessed it, met at work! Ia has a determined spirit which has inspired me through our friendship. There has never been a challenge that Ia couldn't handle, even though we were utterly exhausted by some of them (we will NEVER forget Easter!). In our friendship, Ia has helped me grow in so many ways. Ia has helped shape my worldview and gain more compassion in certain areas. She has always given sound advice and highly encouraged me when I met this guy on Hinge named Tanner! ;) Ia initially just wanted to be invited since she "has been there since the beginning of this relationship" (she was actually the first of my friends to meet Tanner), but I couldn't imagine her anywhere on our special day other than by my side!

Kale McCormick

Groomsman

I've known Kale since his birth, given that he is my brother. Kale has always been energetic and loud, yet generous, grateful, and kind at the same time. Kale is one of those people who, if asked, would give you the shirt off his back. His love for you fiercely protects anyone in Kale's life. Kale now exhibits this love through his own family as a husband and father. Penelope is the cutest niece we could ask for! I am honored to have Kale as one of my groomsmen.
