One day in Mrs. Mahaffey's first grade class in walked a new student to me, Conner Wood. Little did I know he would make an impact on the rest of my life. I remember being so young and loving his name because it was different than any other I had heard before. Well, throughout JGS we were in and out of the same classes, paths always crossing until I decided to give public school a chance for junior high and high school. We occasionally saw each other around, but never kept in touch. One day during my senior year, I had a headache while running errands & Rachel knew just who to go to for Advil. We pulled into this driveway and out walked, Conner Wood. It was kind of like seeing him for the first time again, and the rest is history!
