We're getting married!

After graduating film school in 2016, Stephen stuck around Chicago for work where he eventually met lifelong Chicago native Amanda in January of 2017. They met through the dating app Tinder, where they broke the ice and flirted before meeting up in person. Instead of your conventional first date, they spent the night in, enjoying pizza and bonding over horror movies, The Office, and playing Left 4 Dead. For Valentine’s Day, Stephen took Amanda ice skating downtown on The Ribbon at Maggie Daley Park, followed by Amanda’s first visit to the iconic Chicago art piece “The Bean” where they took their first selfie together in the reflection. After finishing their day out on the town, they drank champagne and ate pasta together back at Stephen’s place where they watched Dead Silence and slow danced until 3 in the morning when Stephen finally asked Amanda out to the tune of “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing”. The couple quickly fell in love after realizing their mutual passions in gaming, movies, live music, sporting events, and seeking out the best hot dog or pizza joint around. Frequently traveling between Chicago and the Twin Cities over the years, has brought about many planned detours to roadside attractions, restaurants, and shops throughout America’s Dairyland, leaving a trail of wonderful memories across Central Wisconsin; a place where we now invite you to join us in making another special memory.
