Our ceremony will begin at 1pm on Saturday, December 5th, 2026 at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Following the ceremony, we'll celebrate with you at The Mackay Tower, where cocktail hour will commence at 4pm.
We kindly ask that you arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the ceremony begins. This allows us to seat everyone comfortably and ensures we can begin on time out of respect for the occasion.
We'd love for you to be fully present with us during the ceremony, so we kindly ask that you please silence your phones and put them away. Thank you for helping us make this moment special.
For the ceremony, convenient onsite parking is available at the church. For the reception, you'll find Ellis Parking Midtown Ramp directly across the street from Mackay Tower, as well as a public parking lot located at 114 Pearl Street NW, Grand Rapids, MI.
Yes, we'd love for you to dress up for our celebration! The dress code is Black Tie Optional. We encourage tuxedos and formal gowns, and kindly ask that guests wear elevated formal attire. We're partial to neutral palettes—think black, champagne, and soft earth tones—though deep, rich hues like navy, wine, olive, and chocolate are equally welcome.
We're keeping our guest list intimate due to space constraints, so we're only able to welcome those formally invited on your invitation. If a plus-one was extended to you, you'll see them listed under your name in the RSVP. We appreciate your understanding!
We respectfully request this be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of children in our immediate families and family traveling out of town.
We'd love to celebrate with you! Please RSVP by October 5th, 2026, using whichever method is most convenient for you: complete the online form on our website's RSVP page, or mail back the RSVP card included with your invitation. Thank you!
Absolutely! We're delighted to offer a full open bar featuring beer, wine, and specialty cocktails throughout the celebration.
December in Michigan tends to be quite cold, so we recommend dressing warmly and bringing appropriate outerwear, especially for travel between venues.
Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors, as we're celebrating during Michigan's winter season.
