Our story began on Hinge in March 2023 during Spencer’s senior year at the University of Indianapolis. Ze’ev was Spencer’s first—and only—match. After just a few hours on the app, they exchanged numbers and began texting endlessly. Spencer deleted the app the same day she downloaded it after realizing she had met exactly the type of person she was looking for. At the time, Ze’ev was living on Mass Ave in downtown Indianapolis. We met for a movie night, and neither of us had any idea that one random March evening would change the course of our lives. What followed was two weeks of spending nearly every day together, quickly realizing that what we had found was unlike anything either of us had experienced before: a love that was unconditional, all-encompassing, endlessly funny, and undeniably special. Like many perfectly rational people in love, we moved in together just two months later. We built a home filled with laughter, late-night movie marathons, endless TV binges, silly dances in the kitchen, comedy bits that no one else understands, and completing more LEGO sets and puzzles than either of us would like to admit. We built a home that reflected the love we so strongly felt for one another. In August 2023, we adopted our spoiled dog, Prince, from IACS. He quickly became the center of our little family and remains the light of our lives. In July 2025, Ze’ev proposed during a family trip to Rome. His original plan was to propose at the Borghese Gallery, but when unexpected construction closed parts of the gardens, he had to improvise. True to form, he pulled it off perfectly, proposing in a beautiful grassy field just outside the museum. What made this day even more special was that it was shared with family. Ze’ev’s youngest brother, Asher, spent the day quietly documenting the adventure with his camera, capturing moments that we will cherish forever. And as Spencer said yes, Ze’ev’s brothers, Alex and Asher, cheered in the background. It was a day overflowing with love—not only because we chose each other, but because we were surrounded by the people who had helped shape us into who we are. On August 28, 2027, we’re thrilled to begin our next chapter and celebrate with all of the people we love most.
