we're getting married!

We met in highschool and quickly became bestfriends. We mantained this friendship for 8 years until we decided we should date. (BOTH of us claim to not have had romantic feelings towards eachother, however our friends would tell you otherwise).

The day after our 5th anniversary, I had just came home from work and was told we were going out for dinner with some friends and to be ready when I got home. After being rushed into changing and told we needed to hurry, Spencer stopped me and said "wait I have a surprise for you". Being in our newly renovated first home, I was pleased realizing that all of our stuff was back in order and that the fireplace was on. After praising Spencer for all of his work, he was silent. When I turned around, he was on one knee. After making the easiest decision of my life, Spencer had our favourite song (and soon to be first dance song) ready to play, and we danced to the song, in the living room of our first home. We celebrated with wine and our family and friends. Cannot wait to see you in July where we will be getting married at my family home!
