Winona State was something so different to us both when we decided to go. For Spencer he was the next in line to go get his bachelors and he knew he wanted to be in sports medicine but he didn't know what he wanted in the future, much less what was for dinner. For Tia she was the first in her family going to college, and at the time wanted to be a nurse and thought she had life figured out (oh how wrong 2015 Tia would soon be about life and her major.) Two and a half years into school we met as Juniors and both did NOT think we would end up where we are today. What did we both expect was going to happen? We have no idea but we both kind of stuck with each other. After events of a crazy St. Patrick's day Spencer asked tia if she would be his girlfriend since they both liked hanging out - how did tia respond? "No". O boy Spencer was shocked. A few weeks pass then Tia receives a text the morning of a certain fraternity formal. "want to go to formal?" (YES THAT MORNING) Tia's best friend Chelsea and Kate demand she go and become her saviors getting her ready in 2 hours. That afternoon Tia turns to Spencer and says. "you know what i'm stupid we should just be together" to which Spencer says "no." then "you have to ask me since you have already told me no once before". As you can tell, this was the start to our lovely relationship- being stubborn and at the fraternity formal because where else to start their forever story?
