I am excited to join....What do I need to get to Sitges, Spain?

Avid travelers from USA: ~If your passport is set to expire within the next six months- consider renewing it ~Please make sure your passport is valid for at least 3 months after the date you plan to leave Spain/Schengen Area. Otherwise, you know the deal, scroll on First time travelling from USA? ~You will have to apply for a USA passport 6 months before intended departure date. To travel to Spain in November 2026- PLEASE APPLY by May 2026. While expediated passport is offered, Spencer can tell you first hand it doesn’t always work. ~The passport and visa org website (clearly made in early 2000s): will lead through steps: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/need-passport.html Note: US citizens currently do not need a visa for tourist visits of up to 90 days. However, we are aware of the ETIAS travel authorization process expected to begin in late 2026. ETIAS is not a visa, but a mandatory online form that travelers will need to complete. We will continue to monitor this and inform you if it becomes required.

What currency is used and are cards accepted?

Euro (EUR). Credit/debit cards widely accepted; bring some cash for small vendors. Larger credit card companies (such as Chase) will virtually confirm with you on your first foreign charge but notify your bank of travel just to be safe!

Weather is very moderate for this time of year: Temperatures during the day range from 55°F-67°F . Temperatures at night range from 40°F to 53°F. Precipitation wise, can expect rain- but it is mostly light and short lived

Answer
While Catalan cuisine is meat and seafood heavy, Sitges offers a variety other cuisines including but not limited to American (pizza, burgers), Italian, Japanese, Indian and fast food (McD, KFC). Their predominant food delivery systems are UberEats and Glovo.

Spain uses Type C and F plugs, 230V, 50Hz. Bring a plug adapter and check voltage on devices.
