We're Getting Married

We first caught eachother's eye in the hallways of good old Holland High School, and the rest was history... Spence won me over with his confidence, humor and charm and little did those two young teenagers know that seven years later they'd be getting married!

Spencer and I were on vacation in Charleston, South Carolina in celebration of my recent graduation from Hope College. It was a lovely, humid Friday afternoon and we had planned to visit the famous Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. After wandering through the gardens for a bit, we paused on a bridge that crossed over one of the rivers. With the moment to ourselves, Spencer took me by surprise, got down on one knee and popped the question! There were many happy tears and it was the most beautiful moment I could have dreamed of.
