Spencer and I have known each other since 2017, when I started my first job. Something I think about all the invisible strings that connect us together. A classmate overheard my friend, Lauren and I, talking about how I was looking for a job and he mentioned that I should apply to the theater. If it was not for that conversation I would have never met him. In my senior year of high school I was still working at the movie theater and had a shift when I got an email from the University of Cincinnati sent their acceptance emails out. I read mine and Spencer was the first one I told I got into UC for Fashion Design. He found out before my parents, because I needed to tell everyone and anyone. In 2021, due to COVID, I made the decision to stay home for a semester and take my classes remotely to save money. I started working again at the theater and hanging out with Spencer more, and between the games of Uno and cleaning theaters we got to know each other more. I realized how insanely funny he was and how much we got along with each other. I already had a crush on him that was ongoing since I met him. We had just watched a movie together before a shift at the movie theater we worked at when Spencer so casually asked me out. He was so nonchalant about it like it was any other question, it took me by surprise. When he asked me this question my answer was as smooth as he asked, "yeah sure I guess.." In 2022, on a trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Spencer proposed to me and this time I was able to answer a "Yes!"
