What is traditional Indian festive wear?

WOMEN - Lehenga Choli: 3 piece outfit consisting of a cropped blouse, long skirt and usually a dupatta (shawl). Easy to wear! - Saree: One long piece of fabric that can be draped around the body in different ways, worn with a cropped blouse. Very difficult to drape yourself, but you can find lots of pre-draped options online. - Salwar Kameez/Anarkali Set: Usually a longer tunic shirt with matching pants and dupatta. MEN - Kurta: Long tunic-like top paired with pants. Styles can range from casual to more formal. - Sherwani: Long jacket/tunic, generally worn for more formal events, can get them with embroidery or patterns.
