Carey is a Sister-in-law and bestie built all in one! One of the biggest blessings of building a life with Spencer is that he brought me Carey. She’s my go-to gal for nearly anything; shopping, a good meal, house projects, party planning, forgot your clip board at home? She’s GOT YOU! I’ve grown to love Carey for her kindness, selflessness, loyalty, and her unconditional love towards others. She is one of the most giving individuals I’ve come to know and I’m thankful every day I somehow ended up in the same family as her. Carey has also been a main character in Spencer’s Story. From 12 hour days at Chick-fil-A and Tuesday’s with Carey, to Matron of Honor at his wedding 12 years later. Spencer and Carey have a decade, and then some, of memories behind them! We love you long time, Carey (already) Smith!

Your ability to captivate a room is unmatched. I love that our interest have grown more similar over the years and that you and Spencer have so much in common. Alyna, Aly, Al Pal, my bestie girl! Aly your friendship is oh so cherished. From 8th grade rooftop shenanigans to now both getting married within the same year. We share countless memories from high school, you, Spence, and I. Which has carried us through college, early adulthood, and now marriage. Aly is a giant ray of sunshine that radiates positivity. she’s a ride or die kind of friend. Months could pass by without speaking and it’s as if no time has passed. She has a way of making those around her feel loved, joyful and welcomed. She is as ambitious as it gets and won’t let anything slow her down. I admire her in so many ways and will forever be grateful for her friendship and support throughout the years. Love you Al Pal

Cory Jade. Where to begin? Most of Spencer’s hobbies have started and ended with Cory. To know Cory is to know his obsession with research to his hobby of the month. Cory keeps things fresh and loves what he loves. Cory is passionate, loyal, particular, analytical, persuasive, and persistent once you get him started. He always has Spencer’s best interest in mind and we can’t wait to have his support on our big day!

Traddford! The man, the myth, the legend. There’s nobody quite like him. Spencer and Tradd have bonded over recent years thanks for their love of Pickleball. Their love for the game has slowly turned into, what we like to call, a bromance. Between the daily phone calls, the check-ins on lunch break, the frequent double dates that always end with ice cream and the HOURS spent discussing and breaking down the game of pickleball. Nothing screams friendship quite like it. Tradd is incredibly kind, generous, humble, caring and an amazing person to the community around him. He has a way of making you feel like the most important person in a room full of important people. Traddford, it’s only fair that you join us on our special day. Here’s to friendship!

Brittrolup, the tattoo queen, music junkie and younger sister you didn’t know you needed. Brittany has been around since day 1 of our relationship and has been a constant supporter in our lives. Spencer and Brittany spent years working together at Chick-fil-A and pinching pennies to save for their next tattoo. Spontaneous trips to concerts that always ended in road side incidents and traffic tickets. Brittany is adventurous, loud, loyal, and creative. She’s down for any and everything and we can’t wait to share our special day with her!

My beautiful Mom! The most hard working, dedicated, sarcastic and honest woman I could have as a mother. She has a way of making something out of nothing, especially if it is for those that she loves most. Mom inspires me to work hard and defy the odds life will throw at you. She has been incredibly supportive of our relationship throughout the years and made Spencer’s transition into this family seamless and welcoming. Jojo! The lady who does it all. Spencer’s mother, confidant, biggest supporter, and the world’s greatest Mother-in-law!! Joette does not lack when it comes to her love and generosity to others. She is the most selfless person I know and is a great representation of what it means to be a family person. From a daughter-in-law perspective, I couldn’t have picked a better MIL for myself. I feel blessed everyday when she answers my call on the first ring, listens to my daily rants about life, or will watch Bowser for us in the blink of an eye. She is a true blessing and I’m thankful every day I’m stuck with her!
