FAQs

The Wedding Website of Megan Walter and Spencer Griffin
Question

What time should we arrive at the wedding?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue at 3:30 pm. This will give you enough time to walk into the ceremony, meet other guests, and get seated. Cocktail hour will begin following the ceremony at 4:30 pm, followed by reception and dancing. Last dance is at 12:30 am.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 1st.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please check your invite for your +1!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your kids, this is is an adults only wedding.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We plan for our wedding ceremony to be outdoors in Stewart Park, and the reception to be indoors, however this will be weather-dependent. The Crystal Palace has heating but no air conditioning so plan your outfit accordingly based on the weather!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

If you are staying in Perth, we recommend you park at your hotel and walk over to the venue. If you are driving in, there is free parking at the Crystal Palace.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We are looking forward to seeing you dressed in your best: think wedding formal, but not quite black tie. Some great options include: a suit, a formal dress or a fancy jumpsuit! Note: the bridal party will be wearing copper dresses so please avoid this colour.

Question

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at Stewart Park. The ground is uneven with the possibility of leaves or mud. Choose shoes that won't sink into the grass. We also expect everyone to get on the dance floor so bring dancing shoes!

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We will have an unplugged ceremony. Please leave your phones and cameras off until the reception.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

We are happy to accommodate! Please confirm any dietary restrictions with your RSVP by July 1st.

Question

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

Answer

Check out the WHERE TO STAY tab on this website for options.

Question

Will food be served?

Answer

Absolutely! What you can expect is a mouth-watering charcuterie board from a local cheese shop at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner, dessert and late night food. Your RSVP is requested by July 1st in order to accommodate your food choices.

Question

Will it be an open bar?

Answer

Yes. We will have an open bar with a selection of wines, beers, mixed drinks and non-alcoholic options. All we ask that you bring tips for our bar staff, if they are happy, everyone is happy!

Question

Is there a gifts registry?

Answer

If you would like to honour us with a gift, a card box will be available at our reception. Alternatively, you can access our small registry from this site.

Question

Is there anything else I should bring?

Answer

We recommend you bring your smiling faces, your dancing shoes and tips for our bar staff :)
