Please arrive between 6:00–6:15 PM so we can begin the ceremony promptly. The venue will not allow guests to enter before 6:00 PM, so we kindly ask that you do not arrive earlier.
The venue is located at 1988 NW 18th Ave, Portland, OR 97209. There is a pay-to-park lot at 1898 NW 17th Ave (17th & Upshur), about a block away, which accommodates up to 100 cars at $12 for the evening. Additional unmetered street parking is also available in the surrounding neighborhood. We encourage those coming from out of town to consider use of ride share apps including Lyft or Uber
When you RSVP online, you'll be able to respond for yourself and anyone else included in your party or invitation. We have thoughtfully planned our guest list, so we kindly ask that you only RSVP for the guests listed there. Thank you for your understanding!
We invite everyone to wear anything between dressy casual and semi formal.
The Blockhouse offers a beautiful mix of both! The ceremony and reception will take place across indoor and covered outdoor spaces. The covered outdoor patio features shade cloth to keep things comfortable during warmer September days, and the indoor space has full heating and air conditioning. While you'll be protected from any unpredictable Pacific Northwest weather, we recommend monitoring the weather as the date approaches and to dress accordingly.
Yes! We will have meal options available for guests with dietary restrictions including vegan and vegetarian options. We love your little ones, but we ask that young children stay home. We hope this gives parents a chance to enjoy a well-deserved night out!
