The Cookie Table

A cookie table is a wedding tradition said to originate in Southwestern Pennsylvania, where Lindsay grew up, where a large table with different cookies is presented at the wedding reception. Cookies are generally prepared by family and friends, with the hope of bringing the celebration to the kitchen. Some say the more cookies, the more "luck" for the bride and groom in their new life together. We hope you enjoy this Pittsburgh tradition!
