Hi everyone! This is Lauren speaking. Thank you for being here and being invested in Spencer and me. It means the world to us to have the support of so many sweet people. I met Spencer when I really wasn’t looking for him. One weekend while I was home from college, my former tennis coach, Tiffany (my now soon-to-be sister-in-law), told me that she wanted to set me up with someone. She really talked Spencer up, but I brushed off the idea. Who knew that I was potentially brushing off my future husband? It didn’t take long after we started talking before we really hit it off. We would text all day long and stay up talking on the phone until 3:00 in the morning sometimes. It wasn’t always easy because he lived in Columbia and went to ULM while I went to Louisiana Tech and lived in Ruston, but we made it work. Before I knew it, he transferred to Tech. We had a few classes together and were able to spend a lot more time with one another. After graduation, I moved to Shreveport to start medical school. Spencer followed me up there for a year but ultimately moved back to his home in Columbia. We’ve been together seven years now, and we've made a lot of memories during that time. I’m so excited to finally live together and be family. We are looking forward to the future, and I am glad that you are here with us as we start this new journey.
