We are still getting married on May 15, 2020! However, we will be having a private ceremony with our families. Regretfully, we have decided to postpone our reception. We plan to reschedule it for a time where everyone can gather healthily and safely (we are thinking around our first anniversary, next year). We will send out invitations when the time comes and hope you can make it!
It all started in 2012, at a little place called Many Point Scout Camp. Laura was a counselor-in-training and Spencer was a first year staffer when they met on the Ten Chiefs beach. They instantly hit it off, quoting the movie Anchorman. They kept in touch for the next two years, just as friends. In the summer of 2014, they were placed in the same camp and got to work together. On July 15th, he finally asked her out, after 2 hours of thinking out loud and weighing the pros and cons of long distance relationships. For the next 2 years, they were in a long distance relationship. In 2016, Laura decided to go to St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN while he was living in Minneapolis. In the summer of 2017, on the evening of August 12th, Spencer asked Laura to marry him on the Ten Chiefs beach, where they had met 5 years before. In 2018, right after Spencer's motorcycle accident, they moved in together and got their little baby Purcy.
