It's happenning in a major way!

We are actually both from Wilson, NC and never spoke to each other. We even lived up the street from each other during our childhood and played with mutual friends. This is where it gets interesting -- how we started communicating? TWITTER! Lol! Yep, social media wins again! One day Spencer decided to deep dive into my mentions (I must admit that I was pretty funny on twitter back in the day) and it took off from there. We hung out with mutual friends for a while, but we slowly became closer and closer and now look at us! He never left my mentions, but if you let Spencer tell the story it would sound a lot different, somehow!

I'm sure everyone has seen the video! I spent all month planning this nice 90's house party for Spencer's birthday. I woke up that morning singing happy birthday and telling him about how the day was all about him. Little did I know, that it was actually all about me! Towards the end of the birthday party, Spencer gave his "birthday speech" and followed up by getting on one knee to propose! I cried (and it was an ugly cry) and said YES! Until this day, I don't really know if he asked the question, because my body froze and everything went silent...all I could think of was "Omg, I have a ring on my finger...do I take it off, so that he can put the engagement ring on, yes. yes take it off...wait-have I said yes? Omg, say yes then snatch the ring off!" Too Funny! If you watched the video then you saw me and the ring situation! We're so excited to share this next chapter in our lives with you!
