Temple Square
One of the main tourist attractions in Salt Lake City, Temple Square has several historic buildings maintained by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Parts of Temple Square will be under renovation in 2025, but it's still a cool place to check out!
Utah State Capitol
This is where we first met ten years ago! Aside from that, the Capitol has some cool art and architecture and offers guided tours.
Gilgal Sculpture Garden
A sculpture garden in Salt Lake City. One of Spencer's favorite places - he has a tattoo of one of the statues on his arm!
Ensign Peak Trailhead
A short hike near the State Capitol Building that gives you a good view of the entire city.
Grandeur Peak
A challenging, 5.6-mile out-and-back trail outside of Salt Lake City.
Donut Falls Summer Trailhead
An easy 3.2-mile out-and-back trail near Salt Lake City.

Utah's National Parks
These are all a pretty far drive from the city (3.5 hours), but if you want to make this a larger trip, they are all well worth seeing. Zion, Arches, and Bryce Canyon are our favorites!
