Food Recommendations

Food Recommendations

There are a lot of food, drinks, and desserts that are unique to Hawaii so we listed our favorites in this Google Doc. If you have any questions or want more recommendations, just ask! https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lER6jjPoHyaGODEaQtBGdHh2fd4YDy3Ru7z-XFKAr_E/edit?usp=sharing

Diamond Head Hike

Diamond Head Hike

Honolulu, HI 96815

This is a popular hike close to Waikiki. It is a fairly easy hike about 2 hours roundtrip. Reservations required for out-of-state visitors

Pearl Harbor National Memorial

Pearl Harbor National Memorial

1 Arizona Memorial Place, Honolulu, HI 96818

If you are into history, submarines, or battleships, Pearl Harbor has it all.

Dole Plantation Pineapple Garden Maze

64-1550 Kamehameha Highway, Wahiawa, HI 96786

World's largest outdoor maze

Polynesian Cultural Center

55-370 Kamehameha Highway, Laie, HI 96762

PCC is a great place to learn about cultures from around the pacific as well as to experience a Hawaiian luau and show. Fair warning: it is located about 90 minutes away from Waikiki and with dinner and a show is a full day activity

Byodo-In Temple

Byodo-In Temple

47-200 Kahekili Highway, Kaneohe, HI 96744

This is a replica of a temple in Japan and it is located in the same neighborhood where Spencer grew up. You can ring the giant bell outside the temple and also walk through it.

Germaine's Luau

Germaine's Luau

91-119 Olai Street, Kapolei, HI 96707

If you want to experience a Hawaiian luau, this is your chance.
