Spencer and I met my freshman year of college, his sophomore year, at West Texas A&M University. My friend Andrea Vaz (Porte, now!) pointed out Mr. Ford to me one day in the summer and told me he was cute and very sweet. Spencer was a firefighter in Canyon and Randall County while in college. He kept busy while working at the glass shop, going to classes, and running calls with the fire department. We met and kept in similar groups while I attended classes there, but never grew close. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology in May 2016 and shortly after moved to Seminole, TX, working as an Account Manager for Nalco Champion. Meanwhile, I cheered at WTAMU from June 2012-May 2013, then transferred to Corpus Christi where I was a worship leader for my church and attended classes from August 2013-May 2014. I moved home to Lubbock in the summer of 2014. I kept busy with finance jobs and classes at Texas Tech University and re-connected with Spencer in April 2017. In August 2018, I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Applied Economics and now work as the Warehouse Manager for Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC in Seminole, TX. We decided to take a fun trip to Spain to celebrate my graduation in November 2018 and NOW, we are ENGAGED! It's been a fun, exciting journey, and we can't wait to be married!
