Things To Do

Here's a brief selection of places we love and have special memories with! This is not a comprehensive guide to the greatest poboys in the city (Guy's is the best for fried shrimp, Parkway is great but always crowded, Parasol's is classic!) you could ask literally anyone in the city and they'll give you a good spot. We hope you have a fabulous time here filled with good food, new friends, and poppin tunes.

Tartine

7217 Perrier Street, New Orleans, LA 70118

This is the perfect breakfast/brunch/lunch spot uptown. Go here for a bite and then stroll in Audobon Park close by, Za and I do it all the time! 2 years ago my pal Will and I were trying to decide on where to get brunch on a Sunday morning, I wanted to go to Tartine (because I always go there) and he said I should try something new and took me to Bar Pamona where I met my sweet Za.

Bar Pomona

2352 Saint Claude Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70117

The intimate neighborhood restaurant where Eliza has been working, and where Eliza and Spencer first met.

Leo's Bread

2438 Bell Street, New Orleans, LA 70119

In beautiful Bayou St. John sits the bakery we go to most frequently! This is also a short drive or bike ride to City Park and The New Orleans Museum of Art.

Creole Creamery

4924 Prytania Street, New Orleans, LA 70115

Za and I have ended at least 70% of our dates at Creole Creamery. She loves the black and gold crunch and I love the banana split and most importantly, we both like to share.

Pond Coffee

2700 Chartres Street, New Orleans, LA 70117

Delicious coffee in a small neighborhood spot, shared with a delicious vegetarian/vegan friendly breakfast and lunch spot, Small Mart.

Blue Dream

1925 Sophie Wright Place, New Orleans, LA 70130

This curated vintage shop is on a favorite stretch of Magazine Street for strolling, grabbing a bite of Vietnamese food at Lilly's Cafe, and browsing knick knacks.

The Spotted Cat Music Club

623 Frenchmen Street, New Orleans, LA 70117

If you are looking to see some classic New Orleans traditional jazz music then this is the spot. It is right on Frenchman just outside of the quarter and I've never seen a bad show there.
