Matron of Honor
Kim is my older sister and has known me since before I was born. Kim has the singing voice of a Gospel choir and the cutest little half asian babies. She will ski any mountain you take her down & can probably throw a softball a quarter mile.
Best Man
I lived with Marcus in a Navs Bachelor Pad in Fort Bragg. As a recently saved man when I met him, I was impressed with how much of the bible he absorbed. He is a self-proclaimed marksman, though if it is cold he will only shoot a pellet gun from the doorstep of a warm house.
Bridesmaid
Sami and I met in our 4th grade class and were friends when we were weird and I looked like one of those kids from the little rascals. Sami is a Navy nurse who has served in Afghanistan where she learned to salsa dance with a gun (total BA).
Groomsman
My younger brother Wyatt has been my best friend ever since we were kids. Everyone thought we looked like twins growing up but we are actually 18 months apart. We would do everything together whether it was soccer, camping, AWANA, or video games. He is a blessing to our family and has a heart for God. If you see him around a piano, ask him to play some Jazz for you.
Bridesmaid
Katy has also been my friend since the 4th grade when we dressed like boys and pretended to be N'Sync. She & her husband also have amazing singing voices & have dropped some killer albums. We ate goat cheese in a shack behind the pyramids of Giza together. It was quite a fresh experience.
Groomsman
I met Michael while being stationed in Italy with the Army. The first time I saw him, he had just gotten back from some mountain training that had turned him orange like an oompa loompa. We would travel Europe together and cuddle for warmth in the woods on cold wintery Latvian nights.
Bridesmaid
Katie and I met working at Pine Cove together in college. We once perforemd RESPECT by Aretha Franklin with stage names of Cinammon & Paprika. Katie keeps the world a brighter place & is tied for furthest traveled to come to the wedding! Also ask her how many countries she's lived in this year.
Groomsman
I met Caleb and lived with him in the Navs Bachelor Pad at Fort Bragg. As the only 2 enlisted guys out of 5 we bonded as we tried to keep the officers in line. Preparing fellowship meals, nerf wars and living life together was a huge encouragement for me. He may try and boast that he beat me up the incline but it was snowy and I had no traction on my sneakers so don't give him too much credit.
Bridesmaid
Katie was my roommate for a brief 3 month stint I had in Austin. After witnessing me shove a brownie in my mouth that I thought was being sneaky, we became instant friends. Ask her about that time she got mugged in the Middle East. #patches
Groomsman
I met Paul while being stationed in Italy. There are a lot of crazy and unique individuals in the army so it was nice to meet a level headed guy to travel with. We try and make a vacation trip each year no matter where we are at. He has gotten out of the army and now fights terrorism in Texas, in the form of invasive hogs.
Bridesmaid
Sarah & I met overseas and now live 8 time zones apart! Even so, I've been on numerous of their family vacations & her kids probably think we're related. She & I have met up in multiple countries for adventures. Sarah's family is tied with Katie on furthest traveled!
Groomsman
Ben was the fire starter to my relationship with Jesus. He came up to me in a mini mall at Fort Bragg and invited me to the navigators bible study on post. He is notorious for giving me a hard time about the length of my hair and speaking truth. Watching him as a husband has been an excellent example for me to look to and strive to be.
