Spencer and Brianna first met when they were 16 at a leadership summer camp at the University of Houston that both their parents forced them to go to. They often say they met at "Nerd Camp", which was essentially what this was! They were placed in a group of 9 together completely by chance (or rather, by fate as it would later seem) out of the 500+ kids in attendance at the camp spanning from SETX to Austin. Going around the group in typical icebreaker fashion, every other kid in attendance seemed to have some elaborate "fun fact" about them, whereas Spencer & Bri initially bonded because they both "played softball/baseball and their favorite color was red". That's all it took for Bri to ask Spencer to have lunch with her, and Spencer began playing the long game for 6 months until they began dating on November 26, 2017. Together, they have been through high school and college graduations, new jobs and moving away, growing up and growing together through almost 7 years of loving one another. Spencer and Brianna are so excited to officially embark on their "forever" surrounded by friends and family on their 7th anniversary of dating, beginning their first anniversary of marriage, on November 24, 2024!
