This is our favorite rooftop restaurant in town. Beautiful View of the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel (the main church down town.

We love this restaurant for lunch or date night in the city. Good for groups as well. Food and service are incredible!
La Única San Miguel de Allende
Wonderful restaurant in the heart of downtown. Very fun rooftop bar! Great for big or small groups. Big Menu!
La Azotea
This rooftop bar has a fun atmosphere and great light bites (Annie's favorite is the jicama tacos). This bar has a great view of the sunset and Las Monijas (the yellow dome church in San Miguel). Great for late nights or midday break in town while shopping.
Tío Lucas Restaurante Bar
Tio Lucas has been a staple restaurant with live music some of the nights. They have large portions and authentic caesar salads made table side. Tio Lucas also makes table side bananas foster!
El Pegaso
Great restaurant spot in the center of town. They serve a variety of foods from eggs benedict to chili rellenos to fajitas. You can not go wrong here.
Lavanda Cafe
A wonderful breakfast spot for those early risers. This place has a line out the door if you get there late, but its definitely worth it.
San Miguel Xperience - Booking Adventures
This website helps you book for adventures in San Miguel. You can book hot air balloon rides, tequila tastings, bread making classes, golfing at Las Ventanas Golf Club, wine tastings and private yoga classes.
Fabrica la Aurora
This is an old textile factory that has been converted into a bunch of smaller galleries. The galleries/shops consist of antiques, linens, paintings, statues, restaurants, home decorations, and all kinds of interesting art. Definitely a place to visit for some history and shopping.
Doce 18
This place has nice jewelry, galleries, pottery, home decor, Casa Dragones tasting room, a mens suit shop, and a fabulous food court in the back. It has nice restrooms if you get stuck shopping downtown and need a clean bathroom.
Mercado de Artesanía
A great market in town for mexican artesanías arts and crafts. Handmade items of home decor, jewelry, clothes and much much more.

Diva is a great place for tooled leather bags, jewelry and clothing.
Recreo San Miguel
Great place for women's clothes that are mixture of classic elegance with relaxed-yet-chic clothing.

Coyote Canyon Adventures
Book a tour of the Cañada de la Virgen Archaeological Site (25 Kilometers west of San Miguel Archaeological Pyramid occupied between 540-1050 A.D.) or Horseback riding adventures. Be sure if you book one of these you to do it in the morning and wear tennis shoes.
Charco Del Ingenio
A few minutes from San Miguel de Allende, El Charco del Ingenio is a Botanical Garden and outstanding Nature Preserve.
