We’re getting married!

On December 31st, 2024, Steven recreated one of our very first dates by cooking cabbage, onion, and bacon over the fire. We made dinner together, sat by the campfire, and soaked in the quiet of the night. The sky was filled with stars, and it was a cold winter evening. I was bundled up in one of his oversized flannel shirts, and it was just the two of us. After we finished eating, we were sitting there talking. He was being especially sweet, and in the back of my mind I thought, Oh my gosh… is this it? Then he kept talking, and I started to think, Oh, maybe not. And then, before I could process it, he was down on one knee asking me to marry him. I will never forget the first moment I saw the ring. He designed it himself — a stunning trinity diamond ring — and it was absolutely perfect. He knew exactly what I wanted. I am completely in love, not only with him, but with the ring too. It was intimate, thoughtful, and so us — a moment I’ll cherish forever. -Gracie
