We first met at a "young professionals" Bible study in November 2022. During our group trip to Monterey, we bonded over our disinterest in coffee and love of movies, and our first unofficial date included watching Elemental, which was pretty fitting! Not long after, we began dating officially on July 31, 2023.  

Since then there have been many more movie dates, dinner dates, and double dates. Spencer finally proposed on March 29, 2025 at Dillon Beach!
