We’re getting married!

James and Destiny’s story began at Mansfield High School, where they quickly became close friends. During their junior year, their friendship blossomed into something more, and they officially began dating on May 12, 2020. Throughout college, they navigated the challenges of a long-distance relationship—James attending the United States Military Academy and Destiny the Air Force Academy—joining what’s often referred to as the “2% club” for couples who make it through such a demanding journey. Through every season, their relationship has been deeply rooted in their shared faith in God. His grace, guidance, and faithfulness have been the foundation of their love and the strength behind their perseverance. On December 7, 2024, James asked Destiny for her hand in marriage, and ever since, they’ve been joyfully and prayerfully counting down the days to say “I do.”
