We're getting married!

A few weeks after Alexa crash landed into the DC area in January 2019, coming back from a year in Australia, she and Josh met after matching on Bumble (an online dating app). Spending their first date talking about the universe and string theory for hours, they quickly became a couple after only a few weeks. During this time they realized they were both from the Rochester area, Josh had actually attended Alexa's high school's prom, and her cousin's husband was from his hometown of Hamlin, NY. Knowing that they wanted a future together, after three months they had a late-night discussion and decided together to get married. The next day they went to the store and picked out a ring, and told their families a few days later. In July 2019 they moved in together, quickly filling their house with two cats, Artemis and Persephone, and their new puppy, Athena.
