Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal attire This is an outdoor reception in the mystical forest. HIGH HEELS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED! Please keep your comfort in mind and opt for wedges or be barefoot :)

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to get yourself settled into your seat for the ceremony. There will be refreshments upon arrival. We cannot wait to see you!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

YES! Check out the lodging tab and don't hesitate to reach out regarding more suggestions. Hotel lodging IS limited in this part of the Catskills which is why we have a ton of fantastic AirBnB options. Please book in advance as there are many weddings in the Catskills over the summer :)

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will be providing a shuttle service to/from the wedding for guests within a certain radius of the venue.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is parking at the venue. The whole wedding from the ceremony to the party is at Roxbury Barn & Estate.

Is the venue accessible for handicapped individuals?

Answer

YES! To our friends and family with mobility issues, please do not worry as there will be drivers in six-seater carriages helping guests get around the property from the start to the end of the night. The carriages also offer a cargo unit on the back which can easily hold a foldable wheelchair.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Summers in the Catskills are typically far less humid than in downstate New York. Evenings tend to cool off nicely, even in July. Overall, 10/10 weather.

What if it is raining?

Answer

This wedding is RAIN or SHINE but we predict a lot of sunshine ;)

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

For now, our celebration is strictly by RSVP only and we can only accomodate a certain amount of people. As we get closer to the date and have a better idea of RSVPs, feel free to reach out and inquire about a plus one and hopefully we can accomodate.

Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?

Answer

Yes! We recommend heading to our 'Things to Do" tab on the website. There is so many wonderful ways to spend your time while in the Catskills - from outdoor activities to shopping, the Catskills offers it all.
